This website is dedicated to lupus sufferers, dialysis dependent patients, transplant candidates, organ donors, their family and friends, and a long ancestry of individuals whose living and contribution has added quality and longevity to our lives. In addition, this site is dedicated to increasing awareness and improving wellness. It is my hope that the ever expanding network of our common interests and concerns will continue to grow and give us a brighter tomorrow.

"Butterflies on My Mind" is a medical autobiography.It is about a lupus survivor's meticulous and compelling account of a devastating outcome of lupus - kidney failure, which the author concluded may have been prevented if known available medical treatment had been justly prescribed.

The author documented her undiagnosed disease onset, the prescribed treatment, the various health consequences of kidney failure and the many associated side affects and complications; the physical limitations, emotional verdicts and the corresponding affect on her family.

'Trouble doesn't last always... the harshness of winter will pass, the beauty of spring will come again and there will be joy in the morning.'

The author was blessed with abundant victories along the way and they gave (will give) a measure of armor for the challenges that lie ahead.
